Our Story
Born from Lived Experience and a Conviction That Every Child Deserves to Thrive
Living with dyslexia, an invisible disability that has shaped her journey and strengthened her determination, our founder trained as a nurse before her career evolved in a different direction. She went on to work as an Instructor Therapist, providing home-, centre-, and school-based interventions for children with diverse learning and developmental needs, and served as a School Board Intervenor, supporting children under the umbrella of neurodiversity.
Over the past four years, she served as a Gender Equality and Community Mobilization Officer in Ghana, supporting more than 1,500 young people and helping break cultural barriers surrounding gender-based violence and sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR).
She is the Founder and Executive Director of KAPAW (formerly known as KCRF), where she champions inclusive education, gender equality, and equal opportunities for every child and young person, regardless of ability or background.
